Farmhouse at Serenbe

The Farmhouse

Visited in the middle of October 2016.

Overall, the food was delicious; flavorful, but not so over seasoned, so that I could add salt and pepper to taste. We had the lamb belly and the grouper. Everything worked well together. If you are someone into the Farm to Table movement this is a good place to try. A limited menu guarantees a more authentic experience. The setting was very cozy, maybe a bit too much.

They had obviously added a couple of tables to the dining area, so people had to shuffle a bit for the servers and other diners to get around. However, great aesthetics, rustic, without feeling old fashioned. The staff was welcoming and helpful, if a little overwhelmed as they were busy due to the Sleepy Hollow Experience, which many people (including us) were attending afterwards. It was a very good experience, and we will be going back.

Overall, if you are traveling from Atlanta, or anywhere else that is 30 minutes or more, I would definitely suggest a Dinner and a Show evening!
